Location: Mary McLeod Bethune Public Charter School — 1404 Jackson St., NE, Washington, DC 20017 — 14th & Jackson NE, Washington, D.C., a short walk or bus ride from the Brookland-CUA Metro on the red line, also on the H6 Metrobus line.

In regards to accepting campers, we are NOT first-come first-served but we select campers based on a number of factors. We will try to evenly accept girls from across the age range (8-18) and skill level (from no musical experience to advanced) as well as instrument choice (guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, turntable). In the application, there is also a required “Why I want to come to camp” piece for us to get to know the campers, at least a little. It is also important to GR!DC to accept a group of girls that represent the diversity of the DC metro area.
